Do you love the look of crochet circle motifs but absolutely dread the finishing process?
You are not alone! The thought of making 20 little separate circles and then having to painstakingly sew them all together—and then weave in 40 different ends—is enough to make anyone abandon a project before it even starts.
But what if I told you that you could crochet a whole strip of perfect circles in one go, without cutting your yarn even once?
Stop Sewing, Start Crocheting
In my latest video tutorial, I am sharing a game-changing technique: Continuous Crochet Circles using the Foundation Chain Method.

This isn’t magic; it’s just clever engineering. Instead of completing one circle, fastening off, and starting another, we use a “bridge” made of chains to move to the next spot.
This creates a sturdy, continuous strip that looks exactly like individual motifs joined together, but it’s all one piece of yarn!
Watch the step-by-step tutorial here:
Because this method creates a strong, linear strip, it is perfect for functional projects where you don’t want flimsy join lines.
In the video, I show you how versatile this simple strip can be. Try using it for:
- A Quick Headband: Just attach a hair tie to the ends for an adjustable fit.
- Bag Straps: It’s sturdy enough for small to medium purses.
- Belts: Make it as long as you need for a unique accessory.
- Decorative Trim: Add it as a border to a plain blanket or garment.

This tutorial shows you how to make a single line. But what if you want to connect these circles side-by-side to create a wide fabric for a tote bag or a blanket?
Stay tuned! Tomorrow I am releasing Part 2, where I will show you my unique “secret sauce” method for turning these strips into solid fabric.
